African Women in Ireland Celebrate Mother's Day

 

Event organized by the CWO and the African Chaplaincy in Dublin.


The Catholic Women's Organisation and African Chaplaincy in Ireland yesterday hosted a Mother's Day celebration at St. Brigid's Church, Blanchardstown, Dublin. Reaching out to African's living in Ireland is an important part of the OLA mission. The event was attended by Sr. Janet Nutakor, OLA, who is involved with this ministry.

The Catholic Women's Organization started in 2013 with one centre and six members. Today is has six centres and hundreds of members. As part of yesterday's celebration eighteen new members were received into the CWO group.

The African Chaplaincy in the Archdiocese of Dublin is coordinated by Rev. Cornelius Nwaogwugwu, CM. He celebrates Eucharist at alternating churches across the Archdiocese every Sunday.
