Fr. Rory Doyle, OFM Conv., grand nephew of Sr. Henrietta Power, OLA, celebrates first mass in Fairview, Dublin.

Fr. Rory Doyle celebrated his first mass at the Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Fairview, Dublin on Saturday evening last (1st April). His ordination took place in Liverpool on 25th March 2017 - on the Feast of the Annuciation when Mary said 'yes' to her vocation.
Fr. Rory's twin brother, Brian, and older brother, James, are also priests. Their grand aunt, Sr. Henrietta Power, from Ballyvelig, Campile, New Ross, Co. Wexford is a Missionary Sister of Our Lady of Apostles (OLA). Sr. Henrietta, a qualified science teacher by profession, first served as a missionary at St. Teresa's College, Ibadan in Nigeria. She later moved to St. Marie Goretti's Secondary School in Benin City, also in Nigeria, where she spent many years as principal of the school. She has now retired to Ardfoyle Convent in Cork City.
