African Chaplaincy Dublin yesterday (Sunday 11th March) held a special Mother's Day celebration at the Divine Mercy Church, Lucan.

Sr Janet Nutakor, OLA was present for the event and noted how it linked the upcoming World Meeting of Families.

"This year's celebration was based on the love that God has for each one of us and how this is manifiested through a mother's love. With the World Meeting of Families taking place this August, there was a great emphasis on how family is a nest of love."

The African Chaplaincy host a weekly celebration of the Eucharist in the Diocese of Dublin:

  • Divine Mercy Church, Lucan South: 1.00pm 2nd Sunday of every month.
  • Immaculate Conception Church, Clondalkin: 1.00pm, 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month.
  • St. Brigid’s Church, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15: 1.00pm 4th Sunday of every month.
