There is so much happening in the world right now that may feel heavy. In the midst of it all, Mary Oliver’s words remind us to pause and recognise the quiet importance of our lives. She wrote, ‘It is a serious thing just to be alive on this fresh morning in this broken world.’ Sometimes, simply noticing the beauty in a moment, even amid chaos, can offer a small, steadying anchor.
In November, we lift our voices in prayer and solidarity against violence towards women. Join us on our social media pages as we participate in the 16 Days of Activism later this month, calling for justice, healing, and dignity for all.
Living through uncertain times calls for a deep-rooted patience and trust that isn’t always easy to find. Yet, just as every season has its purpose, so do these moments of waiting, questioning, and wondering what lies ahead. In uncertainty, we are given the chance to slow down, to look within, and to trust that this chapter, too, is part of a larger journey. Even when we don’t have clear answers, we can hold onto hope, knowing that clarity often comes in its own time, like the dawn following a long night.
