Yesterday, 25th July 2019, Mary Mark Mtui from Tanzania made her First Profession at the SMA House of Formation in Bodija, Ibadan, Nigeria.
Mary is from Moshi, Tanzania which is near to Mt Kilimanjaro. She entered the OLA Noviciate at Oke Maria in Ibadan, Nigeria in June 2017. Yesterday she became the third Tanzanian to be professed.
She is pictured above with Sr Dolores Kearney OLA from Co Tyrone, Ireland who is part of the formation team in Ibadan and Sr Celestina Ikpeni OLA from Nigeria who is in charge of postulants’ formation in Tanzania.
We pray for Mary and her seven companions, four Ghanaians and three Nigerians, who made their first professions. It’s exciting to see how these young woman have heard and responded to God’s call. We pray that the witness of these women serves to inspire others to seek out God’s call in their lives.
May Our Lady Queen of the Apostles continue to watch over them and lead them in their calling.
