In November, we turn our attention to one of humanity’s deepest scars—violence against women. This month, we lift this reality in prayer, not to simply plead for an end but to open ourselves to the mystery of change, to be touched by the courage of those who have endured it, and to recognise our own call in addressing it. Prayer, after all, is not passive. It is a profound, active stance, an invitation to live with open eyes and hands ready to serve.
Each year, we actively participate in the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, observed from November 25 through December 10 via our social media pages. You can help spread the message and join our efforts by engaging in our posts and sharing them to your own channels. This campaign, reminds us that the pain of one woman is a pain for us all. It is a summons, calling us into solidarity—not only to remember those who have suffered, but to examine the systems and mindsets that perpetuate such harm. In our prayers, we ask to see more clearly, to feel more deeply, and to act more bravely.
Our prayer this month is not one of easy answers but of deepened awareness, a sacred plea for justice and healing. We pray to enter into that holy space where compassion and conviction meet, where justice and mercy rise together. In prayer, we refuse to accept violence as inevitable. Instead, we commit ourselves to a vision of a world in which compassion guides our actions and justice shapes our societies and where all women live in dignity, freedom, and safety.
May our November intentions be a candle in the dark, illuminating the sacred dignity of every woman’s life and calling each of us to keep this flame of hope alive.
